Spring Daydreaming
Our Spring theme is about getting lost in a daydream - as gardens begin to bloom and nature comes back to life, we look to the season ahead and all that is to come. We're cleaning out our closets and refreshing our wardrobes...RSVPing yes, seeking new memories and planning summer vacations. Here's what's inspiring our team for Spring, in and outside the office.
Jewelry
The jewelry pieces on our Spring wishlist are versatile, feminine, and unique. For pendant necklaces, two that we love are the Monroe Heart Necklace in Jade and the bestselling Cross Toggle Necklace. Last Spring we released the Magnolia Studs, which are a nod to the season's blooms. Our Triple Strand Pearl Necklace goes with everything and offers a touch of rococo romance. We're adding whimsical pieces to our closet that are pretty and playful. Art & Home
In the Belle Epoqué era, stripes and florals were often combined in a complementary way to add depth and interest to the decor. This French Louis XV-style settee is sparking envy around the office, especially if accessorized with a Schumacher Brigette Stripe pillow or two. We love the whimsical floral works of artist Inslee Fariss, and in contrast, the geometric pieces of local artist Matt Kleberg. Add some oomph with a sconce like this Peale Green one from Oomph.
Entertainment
Our Spring photoshoot was heavily inspired by Sophia Coppola's Marie Antoinette, which our team rewatched in preparation. In the theme of period dramas meeting early 2000s nostalgia, we're marking our calendars for April 20th, when the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice returns to theaters in celebration of its 20th anniversary. There's so much to love about these iconic films, and wardrobe is certainly one of them. If you happen to find yourself in Paris in the upcoming months, you must check out the Louvre Couture fashion exhibition. While there, try to snag a pastry by chef Cédric Grolet. If Paris isn't in your plans, transport yourself there with the snackable Hemingway classic, A Moveable Feast.
