The 2 stones were not the same cut. One was thicker than the other. There were holes through the middle of the stones as well as the pearls and one of the stone was crooked in the setting.

I love the classic look f the black, gold and pearl studs. I will say that the little pearl fell off of one earring initially but I found it, glued it in place and have really enjoyed wearing these earrings!
