One of my gal pals had a necklace on and took it off at a birthday celebration for some reason and handed it to me to hold. I admired it and saw the little gold tag that said Susan Shaw. The next day I was off to Instagram to hunt for this artist. A couple hundred dollars later I am at a kick-off party for the same friends political kick off party. She says what a pretty necklace, I said, well you should like it it is by the same woman that made the one you were wearing at your birthday. lol Then I said it would look great with that outfit you have on when you make your speech! So off came my necklace and my Buffalo Nickel necklace shined as she spoke of the future of our city. This is when I also realized I need to keep upping my necklace game. We only use sterling silver and 24K gold plating because they wear well and look great. We always use semi-precious gemstones, genuine freshwater pearls, hand-painted beads and built-to-last materials like Lucite and Venetian glass.
