Social Media Manager

This marketing team member will manage all social media channels for the Susan Shaw brand. You will collaborate with the team to develop strategic and creative marketing campaigns and be responsible for creating and posting relevant and original content across platforms. Your key role will be driving brand awareness through consistent, cohesive content creation. Additionally, you will work closely with the Creative Director assisting with frequent photoshoots (twice a month on average). The perfect candidate is a true advocate of the Susan Shaw brand who is enthusiastic and aspires to push company growth through digital storytelling.


What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign ideas regarding new collection launches, sales, events, etc.
  • Create compelling original content, bringing to life campaign visions through imagery, graphics, videos, and written descriptions
  • Schedule and plan content across social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Gather and repurpose inspirational, on brand content to share via Stories, Reels, and Pinterest Boards
  • Respond to comments and direct messages
  • Further expand our reach through staying active on social media (strong emphasis on Instagram) through likes, comments and replies
  • Serve as the digital voice of Susan Shaw

  • Ability to work in Adobe Creative Cloud to produce original graphics, .gif animations, and digital illustrations
  • Familiar with Dash Hudson, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Photography, videography, video editing

Susan Shaw is a 40+ year old jewelry company that began with a wholesale-only business model. In 2018, direct to consumer was offered for the first time with the launch of our e-commerce site. In many ways, our marketing efforts are in a start-up phase but with the insurance of a product that has proven itself.
